Escape & Deck Hatches type Genius GENIUS deck hatches have an anodized aluminium frame, a corner radius of 42 mm and the acrylic lid has a thickness of 10 mm, in the colours “smoke” or “green (glass look)”. Genius deck hatches are equipped with one central friction support, enabling the hatch to be opened up to an angle of 180°. This renders the opening of the hatch virtually free of obstacles, so that e.g. sails can be stored in a simple and efficient manner. Genius escape hatches have two friction supports. The overall height of a Genius hatch measures only 26 mm.
