Owatrol can be added to any oil or alkyd based paints, stains and varnishes. When paint 'pulls' or 'sets' too fast, add Owatrol until the paint spreads smoothly and evenly. Add enough Owatrol to make the paint flow out and give a good 'wet edge'. Owatrol used neat fills the porous surface of wood giving a firm foundation for the paint system. Penetrates rust and reaches clean metal, expels moisture and uses the rust as a pigment.
